What truly drives and excites the team is focusing on the beneficiaries and seeing real impact: students safely walking the revitalised Nelson Mandela Bridge to campus, gathering insights from homeless individuals during the Point in Time Count to better understand their circumstances and service gaps, and turning that data into action through Dignity Day events (partnering to provide clothes, haircuts, and Home Affairs registration for homeless people).

The Field of Dreams stands out as especially meaningful because it brings the first full-scale recreational facility to inner-city youth who otherwise have few safe spaces to play and socialise. Ultimately, the team is energised not by project scale, but by how directly each initiative improves and touches the lives of Johannesburg's people.
