About Ruby Swigelaar
Started her career within the financial services industry which included roles within the Asset Management and Private Banking sectors. Both in South Africa and in the United Kingdom.

Joined Wesgro in 2016, initially as a Market Research analyst, followed by the role of Senior International Export Manager for North, Central and South America. The role supported Western Cape companies with their exporting efforts to these regions.

As head of the Agribusiness Investment Promotion unit since April 2022, she is focused on attracting foreign direct investment into the sector as well as supporting local companies with their expansion efforts within the Agricultural and Agri processing sector.
