The framework stresses the importance of community involvement, allowing members to feel included in the decision-making process.

She also emphasises the necessity of consultation with various stakeholders, including committees, stakeholder groups, and the public, for effective communication, feedback, and problem-solving.

Dr Tsako notes that while consultation is crucial, not all municipalities execute it effectively and that meaningful engagement and addressing community feedback is essential, rather than just a box-ticking exercise.
